Flu bug rules out United duo
27/12/2004 - 12:47:14Alex Ferguson has ruled Gary Neville and Eric Djemba-Djemba out of tomorrow’s trip to Aston Villa.
Neither player has shaken off the flu bug that saw them sent home prior to yesterday’s home win over Bolton, leaving Ferguson to select from the same squad that recorded a sixth win in seven Premiership outings.
Changes to the starting line-up are likely though, with Paul Scholes set to return following his substitute appearance, probably at the expense of either Darren Fletcher or Cristiano Ronaldo.
Squad: Carroll, Howard, O’Shea, Heinze, P Neville, Ferdinand, Silvestre, Bellion, Keane, Ronaldo, Scholes, Fletcher, Miller, Giggs, Rooney, Smith, Richardson.
