Crowe sends open letter to his son
24/12/2004 - 16:39:31Doting dad Russell Crowe has reportedly penned an open letter to his son on his first birthday.
In it, the former Hollywood hardman recalls the day wife Danielle went into labour with "Charlie Boonker" over three weeks early and the rush to hospital.
The actor's publicist was last night unable to confirm if the letter, posted on a fan website carrying birthday greetings for Charlie, was authentic.
The emotive note says: "You are a very special little boy, so affectionate and lovely....Thank you for coming into my life Charlie Boonker. I love you."
