Regulator raps Irish Nationwide for AGM breach
22/12/2004 - 16:49:23The financial regulator has found Irish Nationwide Building Society breached legislation in the conduct of its 2003 Annual General Meeting.
The Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority investigated the AGM after receiving complaints from members of the building society over the issue of proxy voting.
The technical breach did not invalidate any votes taken at the meeting, and no issue arose at this year's AGM.
