Irishman arrested in €4.3m Spanish drug probe
09/12/2004 - 13:59:26Police in Spain have arrested an Irishman and three Britons in connection with a huge cannabis seizure on the country's south coast.
The four were detained after one tonne of the drug was found during a raid on a warehouse on an industrial estate in Alicante today.
Police said the cannabis had an estimated street value of €4.3m and was seized during an ongoing international operation that could result in more arrests.
