Website allows pharmacists swap and sell stock
09/12/2004 - 16:06:27PharmaStox Ireland has announced the launch of PharmaSwap, a website designed to enable pharmacists to swap and sell stock that would otherwise be discarded.
Neill Ryan, managing director of PharmaStox Ireland, claimed stock wastage costs the Irish
pharmacist upwards of €3,000 per annum.
For an annual membership fee of €150 plus VAT, PharmaSwap enables pharmacists to post and view notices for stock they need to swap, sell or request.
PharmaSwap is currently only available to registered pharmacists in the Republic of Ireland at
www.pharmaswap.com but the company plans to launch its PharmaSwap platform into other European countries commencing in 2005.
