ISEQ down as financials slump
22/11/2004 - 10:46:52On a poor morning for the financials and the top names, the ISEQ index dropped 23.22 points to 5987.15.
Business support services company DCC was the morning’s most dramatic faller, down 28c (1.7%) to €15.80.
Ryanair lost 7c (1.4%) to stand at €5.00, while Elan was down 25c (1.2%) at €21.20 mid-morning.
Anglo Irish Bank dropped 16c (1%) to €15.80. The rest of the banks were also down, but to a lesser extent.
AIB lost 4c to €14.36, Irish Life and Permanent found itself 3c in the red at €13.00, while Bank of Ireland was down 1c at €11.61.
Fyffes was the morning’s busiest share, and recorded a slight gain, up 2c to €2.04.
Glanbia lost 2c, standing at €2.80 at 10.30am.
