Guidelines laid down for pension fund trustees
22/11/2004 - 13:48:10Trustees in charge of pension schemes are being issued with guidelines about their responsibilities.
The move is in line with an EU directive on the duties of trustees under the Pensions Act.
The Minister for Social and Family Affairs, Seamus Brennan, said that it was vital those looking after pension funds are trained in the relevant legislation and practices.
