Ryanair announces new services

19/11/2004 - 14:48:03
Ryanair today announced a new daily service from Gatwick to Knock and increased frequency on routes from London Stansted to Cork and Shannon.

The number of Cork flights goes from three to four and Shannon flights from two to four.

Both services come into effect from January 19.

CEO, Michael O’Leary said: "Our new route from Gatwick to Knock (Ireland) will add an additional 100,000 passengers per annum to our existing Stansted-Knock route (on which this year we will carry over 120,000 passengers)."

The extra flights to Cork and Shannon come as easyJet announces services beginning to both airports in January.
