France unchanged for Pumas

France team manager Jo Maso believes Argentina have earned the right to face a full-strength France as he and coach Bernard Laporte announced an unchanged side for Saturday’s Test in Marseille.

Les Bleus began their autumn programme impressively, seeing off World Cup finalists Australia 27-14 at the Stade de France on Saturday evening and take on Argentina having lost their last three Tests against the Pumas.

“We decided not to change anything,” said Maso.

“We wanted to respect that group who gave us such great satisfaction against Australia even if there is still work to do. Argentina beat us three times in the last three years so they deserve to face the best French side of the moment.”

France team: Nicolas Brusque (Biarritz); Aurelien Rougerie (Clermont Auvergne), Tony Marsh (Clermont Auvergne), Yannick Jauzion (Toulouse), Cedric Heymans (Toulouse); Frederic Michalak (Toulouse), Jean-Baptiste Elissalde (Toulouse); Olivier Magne (Clermont Auvergne), Imanol Harinordoquy (Biarritz), Serge Betsen (Biarritz); Jerome Thion (Biarritz), Fabien Pelous (Toulouse); Sylvain Marconnet (Stade Francais), William Servat (Toulouse), Olivier Milloud (Bourgoin).
