Doyle a doubt for Cork City
Kevin Doyle is Cork City’s biggest doubt for Friday’s title showdown with Bohemians at Turner’s Cross (k.o. 7.30p.m).
The striker has a foot injury and needed a pain-killing injection to play in the 3-1 win at Drogheda United last Friday.
“It’s an injury at the top of the foot but he’s a big doubt now,” City boss Pat Dolan told the Evening Echo.
Doyle may have to have another pain-killer if he is to play on Friday.
George O’Callaghan is suspended so Joe Gamble will come back in after a one-match ban to partner Colin O’Brien.
“Doyler is our only injury doubt but with a few more days treatment I’d expect him to,” said Dolan.
Neale Fenn and Denis Behan are on standby just in case Doyle can’t play against Bohemians.
Tickets for Cork City’s “Fans Night” to be held at the Rochestown Park hotel on November 24 and priced at €10 are now on sale.
The evening is for fans to get to meet the players and tickets are limited to 400 on the night.
Tickets can be purchased at the ground tomorrow night from 7pm to 9pm or from the hotel.
