Athenry through to All-Ireland semis
14/11/2004 - 18:56:31Galway champions Athenry have, as expected, comfortably progressed to the All-Ireland Club Hurling semi-final.
Goals from Eugene Cloonan and David Donoghue helped Athenry to a 2-16 to 0-07 victory over Mayo’s Ballyhaunis.
It was all too easy for the Galway stars despite a brave performance from the Mayo champs in Charlestown.
