Astronomy Ireland's 'Astro Expo' takes place at DCU
14/11/2004 - 16:19:38Astronomy Ireland's Annual Exhibition 'Astro Expo' is taking place at Dublin City University this afternoon.
The event sees the biggest display of telecopes ever seen in Ireland.
There will be a plantaterium alongside exhibits from universities across the country.
David Moore of Astronomy Ireland says there's lot to learn at the event: “It’s a great day out for all the family.
"A lot of young people have a terrific interest in space and this will be a chance for them to satisfy some of that interest and take away a lot of information, get some ideas and talk to other people who are like-minded.”
