Galway bus drivers' strike over, services restored

Bus services are resuming in Galway this morning where unofficial strike action had disrupted thousands of commuters in the past two days.

The Bus Éireann drivers had stopped work in opposition to the ending of a Galway-to-London bus service and the filling of four vacancies at Galway bus station.

The two sides will meet at the Labour Relations Commission tomorrow in a bid to resolve the dispute.
