Israeli plane launches missiles in Gaza
21/10/2004 - 20:26:43An Israeli aircraft fired two missiles at a vehicle travelling in the Gaza Strip tonight, killing two occupants and wounding one other, Palestinian security officials said.
Hundreds of people, including firefighters and security forces, gathered around the white Mitsubishi as ambulances raced to the scene.
The explosion took place north of Gaza City as dozens of people were leaving a nearby mosque following evening prayers.
There was no word on who was travelling in the car.
Israel has frequently attacked Palestinian militants in Gaza with helicopter air strikes.
The army had no immediate comment on the report.
