O'Dwyer pledges allegiance to Laois
21/10/2004 - 09:38:24Laois boss Mick O’Dwyer last night reaffirmed his commitment to the O'Moore County for another year and rejected suggestions he had been formally approached to take charge of the Dublin footballers.
The Kerry native ended speculation yesterday following his meeting with the Laois team and county board on Tuesday night.
O'Dwyer added: "I’ve been appointed for two years. We’ll take it year by year." The former Kerry and Kildare boss stressed player commitment was the problem, not expenses, but the issue had been ironed out.
