PSNI officers suspended pending CS spray probe
21/10/2004 - 11:20:01The PSNI has suspended one of its officers pending an investigation into the use of CS spray to control disturbances in Derry on Saturday.
The substance was used twice by PSNI officers during the disturbances, which involved a number of youths.
A police spokesman revealed today that one officer had been suspended pending a probe into the matter, which has also been referred to the Police Ombudsman, Nuala O'Loan.
