Accountants welcome Devlin appointment
21/10/2004 - 11:40:38The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland has welcomed the appointment of Irish chartered accountant David Devlin to the European Corporate Governance Forum.
Mr Devlin is a partner in PwC and President of the European Federation of Accountants.
The European Corporate Governance Forum has been established by current Internal Market Commissioner, Frits Bolkestein, with a view to enhancing the convergence of national corporate governance codes in order to deliver cross-European transparency.
