Dwyer gives up Nottingham rides
20/10/2004 - 14:19:59Martin Dwyer will miss his rides at Nottingham this afternoon due to illness.
The 29-year-old was due to take three mounts at the Colwick Park track but is instead recovering in bed, although he may be back for rides at Brighton tomorrow.
“He just felt really rough this morning. It is probably something that is just going around,” said Dwyer’s agent Gareth Owen
“He had a bad night and needed a day off. He has gone back to bed. He just felt he would not be able to give his horses a decent ride today.
“It’s nothing serious, but he has had a heavy last few weeks. Hopefully, he should be back tomorrow."
