Dawson out for three months
20/10/2004 - 10:04:01London Irish flanker Kieron Dawson will be out of action for three months.
He received a blow to his left knee in the ninth minute of Saturday’s game at Madejski Stadium and had to leave the field.
A scan was taken of the injured knee Monday afternoon and discussed with a knee specialist yesterday.
Dawson sustained damage to his medial ligament and medial hamstring muscle, but an operation to repair the damage will not be necessary. However, he is not expected to return to action for three months.
