ISEQ down, but Trinity soars
The ISEQ was down 17.45 points at 5617.74 at 10.30am today.
Trinity Biotech was the biggest mover on the index, gaining 25c (a massive 10.6%) to €2.60 ahead of releasing third-quarter results today.
Tullow Oil was down 19c (8.9%) at €1.94 after releasing an update to shareholders today on the development of its wells.
Ryanair lost 17c (4.5%) this morning, to find itself at €3.65, despite being named Europe’s most punctual airline by the UK’s Civil Aviation Authority.
McInerney Holdings was another big loser, down 25c (4.4%) to €5.50.
Elan shareholders will be a little more cheerful, however, as the pharmaceutical climbed 31c (1.6%) to €18.70.
Building materials group CRH dropped 25c (1.3%) to stand at €18.55 mid-morning.
The financials made slight losses. Irish Life & Permanent was down 10c at €12.90, while Anglo Irish Bank fell back 9c to €15.30.
AIB was the morning’s busiest share, and slipped 9c to €13.72. Bank of Ireland was down 2c at €12.90.
Business support services company DCC was heavily-traded, and dropped 5c to €15.30.
