Few certainties in Munster draw
18/10/2004 - 08:09:28The draw for next year's Munster fooball championship was made last night, and one thing is certain, Kerry and Limerick will not contest the final, as they have done for the last two years.
The Munster and All-Ireland champions were selected on the same side of the draw as the Shannonsiders.
Kerry face Tipperary in the preliminary round and the winners will meet Limerick in the first semi-final,
after Liam Kearns' side were given a bye to the semis.
On the other side of the draw, Waterford and Clare face off and the winners will meet Cork in the other semi-final.
Munster SFC
Preliminary round: Tipperary v Kerry; Waterford v Clare.
Semi-finals: Tipperary/Kerry v Limerick; Waterford/Clare v Cork.
