Patients' families to protest outside Mater
17/10/2004 - 15:13:55A protest is set to take place outside Dublin's Mater Hospital this evening by family members of patients waiting to be admitted to the hospital.
Staff at the hospital say there are approximately 20 people on the waiting list for beds.
The daughter of one of the patients, Janette Byrne, says her mother has been on a trolley since Thursday and there is nothing the family can do.
