Fahy on way back as Sligo boss?
05/10/2004 - 07:56:55Former Offaly boss Gerry Fahy could be set for a fast return to inter-county management as Sligo football chief.
Fahy stepped down recently as Offaly manager, sparking a player strike.
He has been linked with the job that was left vacant following the resignation of James Kearins last month.
Paul Durcan and star midfielder Eamonn O'Hara took temporary charge of the Yeats County for this Sunday's FBD League away final against New York in the Big Apple.
The Sligo panel fly out on Thursday for the clash in Gaelic Park.
The trip is a reward for Sligo’s victory over Mayo in the FBD League home final last March.
