Stewart waits for free cell
09/09/2004 - 13:26:06Troubled lifestyle guru Martha Stewart is ready to start her prison sentence - but there aren't any free cells at Danbury Federal Prison.
The domestic goddess was sentenced in July to five months in prison and five months of house arrest after she lied about the sale of her Imclone stock three years ago, reports gossip website pagesix.com.
An insider at Danbury Federal Prison says: "There is no available bed at Danbury, and hasn't been for a couple of weeks. She's just waiting."
Anna Cordasco, a spokeswoman for Stewart's legal team, adds: "She is exploring her options and is committed to doing what is right for her company."
