Hoolahan doubtful for Shels

One goal will not be enough for Shelbourne to advance in the Champions League tonight, believes manager Pat Fenlon.

Trailing 3-2 from the first leg against Croatian champions Hajduk Split last week, the eircom League leaders can win 1-0 at Tolka Park tonight (7pm) and go through to a final qualifying round tie against Deportivo La Coruna on the away goals rule.

Fenlon, though, says it will take more than that and he is confident his side can achieve what it takes.

"We will probably have to score twice to go through and we did that away from home," Fenlon said.

"And even if we go a goal behind to them I still think we can win it.

"To be honest I think we will need to score twice, but it is important we do not go out gung-ho looking for an early goal because then we could be picked off."

Shels' only doubtful starter is Republic of Ireland U21 midfielder Wes Hoolahan, who is suffering from a calf injury.
