Man dies in 'suspicious fire'
04/08/2004 - 07:38:04Police were today investigating the death of a man in a fire at a flat in Northern Ireland.
Fire crews were called to the blaze in the Glenville Park area of Whiteabbey, on the outskirts of north Belfast, at around 10pm yesterday.
One man in the flat was found dead, while another was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast with serious injuries.
A woman in the flat escaped unhurt.
A police spokesman confirmed they were treating the blaze as suspicious.
