Ryanair passengers up 400,000
04/08/2004 - 13:06:51Ryanair has announced passenger figures for July of this year, which have increased by over 400,000 on the figures for the same month in 2003.
2,480,648 passengers flew with the low-fares airline last month, compared with 2,038,896 in July last year.
The load factor, or number of passengers as a percentage of seats available, increased by 5% to 90%.
Ninety-seven per cent of Ryanair bookings are now made through the internet.
Shares in the ISEQ-listed company at 12.30 pm today were down 1c at €4.32.
