Teenager dies after suspected stabbing in Dublin
30/07/2004 - 09:01:54Gardaí in Dublin are investigating the death of a young man at Tallaght Hospital this morning.
The 17-year-old was discovered lying on a footpath on Donomore Avenue just before 2am. He was rushed to nearby Tallaght Hospital, where he died a short time later.
Reports this morning said he appeared to have been stabbed a number of times, but gardaí refused to confirm this.
The scene has been preserved for technical examination and a post mortem is due to be carried out later today to determine the cause of death.
