ATMs in the east may run out of cash
30/07/2004 - 15:26:20ATM machines in the Eastern seaboard area could run out of cash this weekend, it was feared today.
The non-branch machines are usually refilled by security van personnel. But cash delivery company, Brinks Allied, has been hit by industrial action, which means up to 200 non-branch ATM's could run out of money.
Machines in Dublin, the north-east and the south-east are affected.
Customers are asked to use ATM's at bank branches, or use the cash-back facility on laser cards instead.
