British schoolchildren hurt in Czech crash
15/07/2004 - 14:41:07A bus carrying British schoolchildren collided head-on with a truck in the Czech Republic today, leaving the two drivers seriously injured.
Some of the 13 British pupils, aged around 15, suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment. All but three have been released.
There was no immediate information on their home towns.
The crash was in the town of Havlickuv Brod, 63 miles southeast of Prague, police spokeswoman Jana Mazourova said. The cause was not immediately clear.
The students were staying at a summer camp near Havlickuv Brod.
