City-Shels clash to be screened live
15/07/2004 - 13:38:43The eircom League today confirmed TV3 will broadcast the Premier Division fixture between Cork City and Shelbourne at Turner's Cross on Saturday August 14.
The match will kick-off at 5pm. Coverage will commence at 4.55pm and transmission will finish at 7pm.
Cork City are currently enjoying success in the InterToto Cup and take on FC Nantes in the third round on Sunday while Shelbourne face KR Reykjavik in the second leg of their Champions League first qualifying round clash at Tolka Park next Wednesday 21st, having drawn 2-2 in Iceland last night.
Shelbourne are 10 points clear at the top of the Premier Division on 41 points with just one defeat. City currently lie in fourth place on 27 points with three games in hand on the leaders.
