US-Australia trade deal agreed
15/07/2004 - 09:01:16The US has approved a free trade agreement with Australia, an important market for US-manufactured goods and a strong ally in the war against terrorism.
The US congress voted 314 to 109 yesterday to make Australia the seventh nation to enjoy a bilateral free trade relationship with the US.
