QPR sign up winger Cook
03/07/2004 - 09:14:25Lee Cook has rejected a new contract at Watford to sign for boyhood club QPR.
The 22-year-old winger impressed at Loftus Road in a loan spell and was manager Ian Holloway’s top priority in the transfer market.
Watford are entitled to compensation because of Cook’s age, though the amount is likely to be set by a tribunal after the Hornets rejected an initial offer.
