Arteta close to Sociedad switch
03/07/2004 - 09:19:45Rangers midfielder Mikel Arteta appears to be a step closer to a dream move to Real Sociedad.
The Ibrox club look set to accept an initial fee in the region of £3m (€4.5m) with the player’s heart set on a return to Spain.
Rangers director of football Martin Bain said: “We have reached agreement in principle with Real Sociedad but certain details have to be ironed out.”
