British railways top European growth list
03/07/2004 - 09:29:00Britain has the fastest-growing railway in Europe, according to figures from the Association of Train Operating Companies (ATOC).
In terms of passenger kilometres, Britain’s railways have grown by more than 36% over the last 10 years.
This was higher than in any other European country.
