City ace Doyle signs new two-year deal
Irish U21 international Kevin Doyle has committed his future to Cork City by signing a two-year deal.
Doyle has been one of the stars for Cork in their European adventure this season and his decision to remain in Cork is welcome news.
Doyle, a natural striker, has been a revelation on the right side of midfield for Cork and has become a firm favourite on Leeside.
Doyle told the Evening Echo: “I had no hesitation in signing a new contract.
“I am loving my time here with Cork and the style of football we play really suits me and my game.
“We have had two great results in Europe and that is a huge plus for what is a very exciting time,” said the Wexford man.
Doyle’s decision to sign the extension to his contract follows last week’s news that Danny Murphy also signed a two-year deal.
