Building sites urged to review child safety procedures
29/06/2004 - 10:13:51The Construction Industry Federation has called on building firms to review their safety procedures in an effort to prevent accidents involving children.
The federation said children frequently trespassed on building sites to play during their summer holidays and the potential for accidents was clear.
It said construction companies should block access to sites, particularly those near residential areas, and ensure that all machinery is safely stored.
