Winslet bows out of Woody Allen film

Actress Kate Winslet has bowed out of her latest film to be with her children.

The 28-year-old’s starring role in the next Woody Allen movie was announced two weeks ago.

Filming was due to start on the £8.5m (€12.7m) project – reported to be a comedy set among London society – in July. But the British star has pulled out to look after children Mia and Joe.

The Titanic actress is thought to have written a letter to the producers apologising for the change of mind.
