Ryanair introduces flexibility options
New flexible initiatives are to be introduced by Ryanair after extensive customer feedback.
From today passengers can change a name on a booking up to three hours prior to departure or change routes.
An all-in name change fee of £35/€50 or local currency equivalent, per name change will be required.
Route changes will be allowed 12 hours prior to first departure for a fee of £15/€22 (or local currency equivalent) per flight per person, plus the difference in price between the original fare paid and the lowest available fare for the new booking at the time.
Ryanair’s Head of Customer Service, Caroline Green said today: "These new initiatives give even greater flexibility to Ryanair passengers.
"Now no Ryanair passenger need forfeit their booking or monies paid, if for any reason they cannot travel – they can simply and cheaply change the name or even change the route."
