Scott's success in US continues
Adam Scott captured his second PGA Tour win of the season after equalling the tournament scoring record in a four-shot victory at the Booz Allen Classic in Potomac, Maryland.
The 23-year-old Australian closed with a three-under-par 68 to finish with a 72-hole total of 21-under-par 263.
He matched the tournament record set by Billy Andrade and Jeff Sluman at the 1991 Kemper Open.
Charles Howell III made a late charge but settled for second place at 17 under on 267 after a closing round of 65.
Defending champion Rory Sabbatini, of South Africa, finished with a 66 to claim third at 15 under on 269.
No one else was within eight strokes of Scott as Arron Oberholser (70), Tim Herron (67) and Bo Van Pelt (67) shared fourth place at 12 under on 272.
Alex Cejka (69) of Germany and Olin Browne (69) were another shot back.
