GAC confirms qualifier fixtures

The GAA Games Administration Committee has confirmed the times, dates and venues for the second round of the Bank of Ireland Football Championship qualifiers and the third round of the Guinness Hurling Championship qualifiers.

Six of the eight football fixtures will take place next Saturday. The game between Cavan and Derry will take place on Sunday with Offaly and Wexford going head to head the following Saturday.

The full list of football fixtures is:

Saturday July 3
Galway v Louth, Parnell Park 3.30pm
Waterford v Longford, Pearse Park, Longford 3.30pm
Cork v Clare, Cusack Park, Ennis 3.30pm
Leitrim v Dublin, Carrick-on-Shannon 3.30pm
Tyrone v Down, Newry 6.15pm
Meath v Fermanagh, Enniskillen 7pm

Sunday, July 4
Cavan v Derry, Celtic Park, Derry 2pm

Saturday, July 10
Wexford v Offaly, Wexford Park, 6.15pm

In the Hurling Championship, Cork will play Tipperary in Killarney on Saturday, July 10 at 4.15pm, with Galway meeting Kilkenny in Thurles the following day at 6.15pm.

The game between Clare and the losers of Offaly v Wexford will be played on the weekend of July 17/18 with a time and venue to be confirmed.
