Fallon handed one-day ban

28/06/2004 - 19:10:48
Champion jockey Kieren Fallon was suspended for one day for not keeping straight from the stalls on 9-4 winner Roodeye in the opening race at Windsor tonight.

Fallon landed the race, the Royal Marbella Group Quality Homes Abroad Fillies’ Median Auction Maiden Stakes, by a comfortable length and three-quarters on the nippy Fulke Johnson Houghton-trained juvenile.

Graham Gibbons, who rode runner-up Castelletto, was also stood down for a day for the same offence. They will be out of action on July 9.
