Dept says no smoking review planned
28/06/2004 - 07:44:48The Department of Health has denied that it ever had any plans to review the workplace smoking ban, introduced earlier this year.
Reports this morning said the Vintners Federation of Ireland claimed a planned review of the effects of the ban on the pub and restaurant trade had been postponed.
However, a spokesperson for the Department of Health has reportedly rejected this assertion, saying no review was ever planned.
