BB contestants worried by new arrival

The Big Brother housemates have been feeling threatened by the newest arrival to the reality TV show.

Moroccan-born singer Becki Seddiki, 33, gave the nine unwitting housemates a huge shock yesterday when she entered the house.

She made her surprise entry when Big Brother announced her name and summoned her to the Diary Room, leaving the housemates open-mouthed in shock.

Becki lost no time in making a quick impression as she was allowed to bring in three bottles of champagne and a stash of chocolate as presents.

But the gifts failed to stop tongues wagging in private as the housemates speculated on why she had been chosen to join Big Brother and how much she knew about them.

It is understood she has been holed up in a hotel for the duration of the show but was allowed to watch a few early episodes of the show.

Becki immediately confirmed herself as a serial flirt as she toyed with every male in the house.

She quickly upset wannabe glamour model Michelle when she flashed her negligee to the Geordie's beau Stuart and told him: “I might let you see me with it on later.”

Victor revealed to muscle-bound Scotsman Jason that he thought Becki had already taken a shine to the air steward.

“She’s got her eyes on you, definitely,” said Victor. “She’ll be after you in a bit.”

Jason replied: “There’s more to her than meets the eye. Be careful.”

The conspiracy theories thickened as Nadia and Marco speculated on their new housemate’s gameplan.

“I don’t believe that she’s only watched a couple of episodes – I think she’s watched the whole thing,” said Marco.

Becki, who works as a trainee florist and lives in north London, initially told the group she had been a Big Brother contestant in Italy, but soon confessed she was bluffing and was actually English.

Her arrival immediately lifted the mood of the housemates, who have endured an alcohol ban since their infamous brawl 10 days ago.

Becki appeared completely at ease as she sat down and chatted with the housemates in the garden.

The Londoner, who sings under the stage name BB Seddiki, has no recording deal but has released a number of R&B and pop tracks on the internet.

According to her personal website, www.bbseddiki.com, she has previously performed in a London West End musical and as a club dancer, and has appeared in several one-off TV shows.

Producers decided to bring Becki in following the departure of three female contestants – Kitten, Emma and Vanessa – in the first four weeks of the show.
