Drama as Gaudio wins French Open title

Unseeded Argentinian Gaston Gaudio claimed the men’s singles title at the French Open in dramatic circumstances today.

Gaudio came from two sets down to beat favourite and fellow countryman Guillermo Coria.

The 25-year-old won 0-6 3-6 6-4 6-1 8-6 against Coria, the world number three and hot favourite.
