Body found off Co Clare coast
06/06/2004 - 15:33:00The body of a woman has been found off the coast of Co Clare.
It is believed that the woman, who was in her 20s, was not from the area. The Irish coastguard was alerted to the Irish harbour shortly after 11.30am today when the woman’s body was sighted.
It is believed she was a visitor to the area and had been reported missing a short time earlier. Her body was taken to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital for a post-mortem.
