Ranieri will be 'paid in full' by Chelsea
02/06/2004 - 11:01:04Claudio Ranieri will have his contract “paid in full” according to Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon.
The Italian, who was sacked on Monday, had three years left on his deal with the London club.
Kenyon said: “We are in discussions with Claudio’s representatives and I can assure you he will be paid in full.”
Ranieri, who hopes to stay as a coach in England, could receive up to £6m (€9m) in compensation after being replaced by Porto manager Jose Mourinho.
