Taoiseach goes on whirlwind EU visits
02/06/2004 - 08:52:02The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, is due to visit seven European countries over the next two days as part of ongoing efforts to restart negotiations on the proposed EU constitution.
Mr Ahern is also due to discuss potential candidates for the post of European Commission president during his travels.
He will be visiting France, Britain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany and Denmark.
