NCCA plans Leaving Cert reforms
02/06/2004 - 08:58:15The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment is finalising a major reform of Leaving Cert subjects and how they are assessed.
Reports today said the council was proposing the reform of all Leaving Cert subjects to emphasise skills such as information processing, personal effectiveness and communication.
The reports also said the NCCA was proposing a greater variety of assessment methods to take the focus away from written exams.
