PIAB launches online information service for workplace claims
13/05/2004 - 07:58:12The Personal Injuries Assessment Board has launched an online information service to deal with queries about workplace injury claims.
From June 1, all compensation claims relating to workplace accidents must be first submitted to the PIAB.
The board, which was established to reduce the cost of processing such claims, will then issue a ruling on the level of compensation deserved.
